Agostino Rossi was born in Locarno on October 19, 1965.
In 1985 he graduated as a carpenter.
From 1988 to 1993 he attended the high school of applied art in Lugano where in 1993 he graduated as interior architect SSAA current SUPSI.
In these years his passion for black and white photography was born.
His favorite themes are “abstraction” of landscapes, elements of nature, (earth, water) as well as architecture and theater.
1997 he exhibits at Alfonso Zirpoli’s “Incontri di fotografia” gallery in Bellinzona; CH
1999 – 2000 exhibits in Valais; CH, tama; The medieval festival.
2010 exhibits “living stone” in Valle Maggia, a solo exhibition sponsored by the association
Valmaggese Pietra Viva.
From August to November 2016 he offers an important exhibition at the Terre di Pedemonte Regional Museum
December 2000 to May 2001 he participated in a collective exhibition in Orselina
with 42 images on the theme: reality and abstraction.
From June to October 2001 he exhibits in Cugnasco.
In June 2002 he exhibited in Lugano.
In March 2003 he created and set up a permanent exhibition at a private bank in Lugano.
From October 2004 to April 2005 he exhibited at a public body in Locarno.
From September 2005 to October 2006 photographic interpretation work on the works of the artist Milo
Cleis Sculptor of Ligornetto with relative exhibition in Lugano.
In October 2009 he took part in the collective ArteperArteFlash in Giubiasco.
In October 2010 he took part in the collective ArteperArteFlash in Giubiasco.
In October 2011 he took part in the collective ArteperArteFlash in Giubiasco.
In September 2012 he took part in the collective ArteperArteFlash in Giubiasco.
From June to August 2013 he participates in the Bienne collective at the gallery

From December 2017 to May 2018 he participates in a collective exhibition at a public body the Orselina with 30 images of various themes.
From August 2018 to June 2019 he participates in an “open air” exhibition with ten large-format images of trees, on Via Orselina in Brione S / Minusio
For years he has collaborated with some Ticino theater companies where he takes stage photographs.
In 2005 a photographic catalog on the works of the artist Milo Cleis Sculptor of Ligornetto.
In 2007, on behalf of the parish of Rancate and the Ticino Cultural Heritage office,
photographs using the optical bench, with the collaboration of the photographer, Louis Trautmann,
The church of Rancate restored by the architect A. Finzi.
In 2013 he joined the ArteperArte committee, and created a collective exhibition of sculptures at the Park
di Orselina which is renewed every year, and since 2016 manages it in collaboration with the Pro and the Municipality of Orselina.
